LEGO Ideas red telephone booth

The famous red telephone box is recognized around the world as a British cultural icon. They can still be found in many towns and villages in the UK. My model is based on an early version of the telephone box called the "K2" which was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1924 specifically for use in London.

The model contains 1856 pieces and is packed with interesting details. The door opens to reveal an authentically detailed interior complete with an old-fashioned telephone and on the back wall I have created bespoke vintage-inspired posters and information boards.

In addition to the telephone booth, the scene is also complimented with a British red pillar box (letter box) and a street lamp complete with colorful hanging flower baskets. The model is presented on a section of paved sidewalk that also serves as a display.
