LEGO Dinos

All dinosaurs from LEGO Jurassic World

To celebrate the cinema release of Jurassic World Dominion, we have listed all the LEGO dinosaurs especially for you.

The Dinosaurs of LEGO Jurassic World

How it started: Back in 1993, legendary director Steven Spielberg helped kick off 'dino-mania'. Jurassic Park brought prehistoric predators back to life and introduced a new generation to the mysteries of dinosaurs. It was almost 10 years later that dinosaurs entered the world of LEGO with themes such as LEGO Dinosaurs, Dino Attack and Dino 2010.

So it would take almost 10 years after the release of the first film until we got real LEGO dinosaurs in the range. The "LEGO Dino" line introduced real dinosaur figures and their influence has endured, as many of those first LEGO dinosaurs have formed the basis of what theLEGO Jurassic World sets have to offer.

The Dinosaurs of LEGO Jurassic World

The Jurassic World theme debuted in 2015 along with the new series of films. Since its introduction, sets have been inspired by the main films, the Legacy Trilogy and even the animated series, including the Netflix companion series Camp Cretaceous. This summer, both the Jurassic World trilogy and Camp Cretaceous will end in their current forms. The perfect time to see what the sets they inspired have to offer.

The Dinosaurs of LEGO Jurassic World

As mentioned, a number ofJurassic World sets have been released since 2015. But let's face it, a lot of people buy them up just for the different dinosaurs they contain. The latest sets introduce a number of new types of dinosaurs, but unlike other releases, all the dinosaurs in these sets are real species and not crazy hybrids. Below you will find an overview of the dinosaurs that can be found in both the LEGO Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous and the LEGO Jurassic World Dominion sets.

LEGO Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous Dinosaurs

In between the Jurassic World films, an animated spin-off has streamed on Netfilx. Camp Cretaceous is inherently tied to the films, despite being animated. It follows the adventures of a group of teenagers who spend their time on Isla Nublar, home to both the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World parks. The story picks up around the same time as the events of the first Jurassic World film, when the teens are stranded on Isla Nublar and must survive the island's prehistoric creatures. The series started in 2020 and will conclude with a fifth and final season this summer. In 2021, the show inspired a number of sets, which strangely featured characters from the film series despite not appearing in the series. The four sets feature different dinosaurs, including some unique variants of some species.

LEGO 76939: Stygimoloch Dinosaur Escape

The Stygimoloch first appear in one of the Fallen Kingdom sets and make a second LEGO appearance in the Camp Cretaceous sets. The different color scheme makes it unique for this set. Luckily, not all of Camp Cretaceous' dinosaurs are deadly, and the stranded teens care for a baby Ankylosaurus they name Bumpy, who is also in the set.

LEGO 76940: T. rex dinosaur fossil exhibit

This set features an unusual take on a dinosaur with a T. rex skeleton. This combines a brick-built body with a unique printed T. rex head. The set also includes a baby Triceratops figure, it is the second appearance for this element, but again the color makes it unique.

LEGO 76941: Carnotaurus Dinosaur Chase

The Carnotaurus figure is very similar in appearance to the T. rex, but uses a slightly modified version of its body and head. This particular species of dinosaur first appeared in LEGO form in the 2018 Fallen Kingdom sets. The version in this set has a slightly different pattern than its rear end. Unique to this set.

The Dinosaurs of LEGO Jurassic World

LEGO 76942: Baryonyx Dinosaur Boat Escape

The Baryonyx is quite a large dinosaur and the LEGO figure version is similar in scale to the T. rex. Yet it has only appeared in sets inspired by animated Jurassic World properties. The first was included in a Legend of Isla Nublar set. The Camp Chalk version is certainly brighter and of course an exclusive variant. It is accompanied by a baby bird of prey figure.

LEGO Jurassic World Dominion dinosaurs

Set 22 years after Jurassic Park, Jurassic World is a brand new dinosaur theme park, set up on the same island as the original park, what could go wrong? The sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, followed in 2018 and after some delay, the 'World' trilogy concludes with Jurassic World: Dominion. It also calls back to the 'Park' trilogy with original characters returning. All three films have inspired a number of LEGO sets and the latest film has a huge number of sets and lots of new dinosaurs to collect.

LEGO 76943: Pteranodon Chase

When it comes to LEGO sets, the Pteranodon has been released a number of times and for the Dominion sets, one appears in the smaller of the Jurassic World 4+ sets. Although there are a few other versions of these flying pterosaurs, the one in this set is unique. I'm not sure how accurate the blue color is.

LEGO 76944: T. rex Dinosaur Breakout

The T. rex is a popular dinosaur species, thanks in large part to the Jurassic Park films, and the second of the LEGO Jurassic World 4+ sets features a very unique version of Rexy. The brightly colored lime green Tyrannosaurus rex may not be very accurate to what they looked like millions of years ago, but it sure does look cool.

LEGO 76945: Atrociraptor Dinosaur: Motorcycle Chase

The Atroiraptor is a new dinosaur for both the Jurassic World films and LEGO sets. They resemble the birds of prey, but are slightly smaller and use a new single body with a movable jaw. The white version in this set is the female and the orange version in the larger set is the male. Both sets with the Atrociraptors can be combined to create a larger set. There are also two of the original baby raptor figures in the set.

LEGO 76946: Blue & Beta Velociraptor Capture

The fearsome Velociraptor is second only to the T. rex in terms of popularity. In Jurassic World we were introduced to Blue, the alpha of the tamed raptor team. She has appeared in a few LEGO sets and strangely enough she always looks different. Normally she is depicted in light green, in this set she is gray. She is also accompanied by her offspring, Beta. This is a brand new element and adds another size between the old baby raptor and the adult version.

LEGO 76947: Quetzalcoatlus Plane Ambush

The Quetzalcoatlus is another new species introduced in both the latest Jurassic World movie and the LEGO sets. This larger flying pterosaur dwarfs the Pteranodon, the wings alone are bigger than the entire Pteranodon and the LEGO figure version is quite impressive.

LEGO 76948: T. rex & Atrociraptor Dinosaur Breakout

The mighty T. rex can also be found in one of the standard sets and the coloring is a little more natural. Compared to previous T. rex figures, the one in this set is much more detailed. It's joined by a new dinosaur for both the Jurassic World films and LEGO sets. The Atrociraptors are trained creatures similar to the Raptor crew from the first film. This set contains the male Atrociraptor.

LEGO 76949: Giganotosaurus and Therizinosaurus Attack

The Giganotosaurus may look a lot like a souped-up version of a T. rex, but it's a lot bigger, thanks in large part to the fin along its back. The head is similar to that of the Indomimus rex. The combination results in a terrifying looking beast. It is joined by another new dinosaur, Therizinosaurus, which has ties to the Jurassic World movie as its DNA was also used to create the Indominus rex

LEGO 76950: Triceratops Pickup Truck Ambush

This is the first time the Triceratops has appeared in a Jurassic World set based on the main films. One of these was included in the Legend of Isla Nublar Jurassic World sets. This version uses the exact same mold and pieces to create the dinosaur, but the color is unique to this set.

LEGO 76951: Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport

Dilophosarus was featured in previous sets, this one uses the new die-cast version. It is actually a smaller type of dinosaur figure, unlike the first versions. The Pyroraptor is another single mold dinosaur, with a movable jaw but with feather-like details on the body and tails. It's much bigger than his real inspiration is.
