LEGO 6696 Fuel Tanker

6696 Fuel Tanker is a city set released in 1984. The set includes a tanker truck with trailer and a driver minifigure. The trailer has a hose reel on the right under the tank, and next to it there is a sticker with control buttons. The Exxon logos on the truck and minifigure are also stickers. The slogan "Happy Motoring!" is on the sides of the trailer. This set was only available in the US, as Exxon-labeled sets were not released in Europe, just as Shell sets were not released in the US until 1986. It was a variant of 1983 6695 Tanker Truck, which was essentially the same truck in Shell livery.
