LEGO 8634 Turbocar Chase

8634 Mission 5: Turbocar Chase is an Agents set released in 2008. It contained 498 parts and consisted of three main sections: the Agents Turbocar, piloted by Agent Chase, the Inferno Helicopter, piloted by Spy Clops, and a gate and watchtower manned by an Inferno Henchman.

The Turbocar is mainly dark blue and silver. It has no roof and therefore looks a lot like a convertible. Most of the studs are covered in smooth bricks and plates, giving it a sleek look that not many LEGO cars have. The transparent and wide but relatively short windshield is tilted slightly backwards, also for a more streamlined effect. There are two pieces on either side that represent side mirrors. The side mirrors are adjustable and can be folded against the side of the car or perpendicular to it. The car's headlights are transparent yellow while the backlight is transparent red.

The turbo car
The inside of the Turbocar has room for two minifigures: the steering wheel side, occupied by Agent Chase, and the passenger seat. Both seats are bright red and if the car hits an object hard enough, the passenger seat will jerk backwards to eject the minifigure sitting there. There is a round green radar panel between the two seats.

The rear of the car features a large silver panel outlined in dark blue with an enlarged Agents symbol on it. A dark blue spoiler has been placed on this. When the back of this part is pushed down, the front part rises to reveal four red and white flick missiles.

There is a wide, dark blue stripe in the middle of the hood. The Agents logo is located at the bottom of the streak, which ends just above the grill and license plate, which bears a combination of numbers and letters, much like the Exo-Codes. A special feature of the hood is the twin cannons that emerge from small slots when a lever on the car's dashboard is pressed down.

The helicopter

The Inferno Helicopter
The helicopter is black and orange, with three rotating rotor blades on top. Four short, claw-like "legs" protrude from the bottom. On both sides of the helicopter there are dark gray engines with the symbol of Dr. Inferno on it. Stubby wings extend just below them on either side. The wings each have a yellow flick missile and two gray cannons.

The cockpit consists only of a large piece of "glass" with the symbol of Dr. Inferno on the front. The canopy can be raised and lowered and Spy Clops can be placed inside. He is held in the bottomless cockpit only by a cord connected to a piece on his back. When the helicopter's rotor blades are turned in one direction, the cord is released, lowering Spy Clops onto the turbocar. when it is turned the other way, the cord pulls it back up into the cockpit.

The gate

The Turbocar crashes through the gate
The gate is mostly black with some flashes of orange. A small gray slope leads to the two black lattice-like pieces of fencing that make up the main part of it. These gates can be opened and closed and have pieces of barbed wire at the top. The gate posts consist of two main parts: one part resembles a post with just enough room for a security camera. The other is larger, with a balcony, a spotlight and another camera. This watchtower has a ladder leading up to it and can hold one Inferno Henchman. Below this lookout tower is a piece exclusive to this set: a horn piece that emits an alarm sound when a button is pressed. As the Turbocar drives through, the open gate collides with the button, canceling the alarm's wail.

Agent ID card
The Agents ID card was included as an added bonus. The card is blue and features an image of Agent Chase under the Agents theme logo. It also has a "barcode" attached to it that would be used to get into the Mobile Command Center. Each set in the first wave of Agents sets included a small star sticker in two parts. This can optionally be added to the card up to a total of 6 stars.

Background
The final plot of Dr. According to the officers, Inferno seemed to pose real problems. Unsure what it was, but determined to find out, they sent Agent Chase in to infiltrate Inferno's base on a volcano. Chase, disguised as a janitor, slipped into a secure room and managed to steal the computer that contained vital information about Inferno's plans. He was discovered by Spy Clops, who, along with Inferno's other henchmen, pursued the agent. Chase quickly jumped into the Turbocar and sped away, closely followed by Spy Clops in a helicopter. Chase smashed through the gate marking the perimeter and, after a brief skirmish with Spy Clops, managed to destroy the latter's helicopter and successfully escape with the computer.
