LEGO 10193 Medieval Market Village

It contains 1601 parts to build 2 buildings, 11 minifigures and 3 brick-built birds. The first building is a tavern with hinges in the middle making it in two parts. The bottom of it is brown palisades interrupted in the middle of the second segment by a door. The palisades continue a little longer in the left segment and are briefly replaced by a dark brown border, before grated windows are formed with palisades still around them, but the wall above is gray. On the right, the palisades stop after the molding where the wall becomes smooth and gray, interrupted by the door and a window to the side. On either side of the door is a brown pillar connected at the top by a gray arch. The second floor of the building, which is largely colored light blue with brown accents and gold ornaments, overhangs the first floor, but even more so over the door. Windows with arched grilles appear regularly and a maroon sign with a crown on it hangs outside. On the right side there is a balcony from which a staircase connects to the ground. The roof of the tavern is black, sloping and generally becomes steeper as it rises. A chimney breaks open the roof on the left segment.

On the inside of the building are four rooms, which are designed to create two larger ones when the building is closed. The entrance room is empty except for a barrel to the side, but the other room on the floor is fully furnished with a barrel and a table with three golden goblets. On the second floor is a bedroom with a sink and stool on the left and a fireplace and a bed with overhanging red-brown checkered sheets.


The second building is a blacksmith's workshop and living quarters above. The lower level is gray and consists of four arches in the front and a water wheel that spins a hammer to hit an anvil on the left. Just like the tavern, the workshop is hinged in the middle. A sign hangs low to indicate this building. Lamps are also hung on the wall. The second story is colored brown and has brown and black lines running through it. There are two windows in both segments. The roof is a black slope upward on either side of both segments to form triangular peaks.

Inside the workshop, an entire part of the floor is dedicated to a stable with two stables for horses. Apart from the hammer and anvil in the other segment, there is a black forge against the wall. Above the stables is a room with a wood-burning stove and baskets of food. A portrait of a lady hangs between the two windows. In the room on the right there is a round table with a stool and a portrait of a man behind it.

The open market includes a covered stall selling flowers, fish and fruit, as well as a table with more food including turkey, carrots and cheese. A sign gives prices for each item. The tall, stone-built tree consists of fourteen leaf parts and sprouts white flowers. Other items include a weapon stand and a hay cart that can be pulled by a horse.

Minifigures
The set contains six minifigures. There are, among other things, two crown knights dressed in gray, silver, light blue and dark blue, a blacksmith, two peasants, four men and two women, and a boy. The set also includes two cows, a horse, a rat and three birds.
