LEGO 2144 Nex 3.0

2144 Nex 3.0 is a Hero Factory set released in July 2011. The set contains an orange Hero, the second variant of Julius Nex.

In tiger mode on Savage Planet, Nex's armor consists of three colors; its traditional orange, Savage Planet's translucent green badge, and a few silver pieces. His shoulders are wider than Bulk 3.0's. Nex has no armor on his forearms; however, on his left forearm he uses a shield with two tiger claw spikes connected to it. His helmet resembles the head of a saber-tooth tiger and he has a green core and a green head.

Nex was built with the 2.0 system and helped fight the Fire Villains in Tanker Station 22. He eventually received the 3.0 upgrade for his journey to Savage Planet, as the 2.0 armor did not respond well to the environment on Quatros. His description on LEGO.com refers to "destroying the witch doctor with the power of tiger animals."
