LEGO House 40297: DUPLO Bricks now also in a paper bag

The LEGO House is always a surprise. On AFOL Day 2024 at the end of September, the red DUPLO bricks from the molding machine in the foyer were still available in a transparent plastic bag, but for a few days now the bricks have only been available in the more environmentally friendly paper bag. The six red LEGO system bricks in the LEGO House started in mid-February 2024.

Shortly after this year's Skaerbaek fan weekend, the first rumors that this would happen surfaced. However, this could only be confirmed in the past few days: in the House of Stone in Billund, there is now a new paper bag with the LEGO House 40297.

A LEGO Fan went to the LEGO House in Billund especially for us last weekend. The trip was worth it, he got to take one of the new paper bags home as a souvenir and provided us with a few pictures. Thanks for that!

Now that the first two polybags have been replaced, it can be assumed that from next year the polybags in the restaurant "Mini Chef" will also be replaced. To order, a polybag with stones is needed and with a children's menu there is an extra polybag to play with.

More paper bags from 2025

The Danish toy manufacturer remains true to its chosen line and changes the packaging material in many areas. Next year this will also have consequences for the polybags for the different LEGO theme worlds. The first official images of the upcoming paperbags have already been published.
