LEGO Ideas Lancia Delta Integrale Rally Car
The next design from Ideas is a hit! Lumik's Lancia Delta Interale 16V Rally Car (1990) had received 10,000 votes from fans on the LEGO Ideas site in 612 days. This makes the rally car the 22nd draft in the 1st review phase in 2022. The Lancia Delta is a well-known road and rally car that won six consecutive FIA World Championships between 1987 and 1992. The car also has many fans and enthusiasts worldwide, to the point that reissues have been made to celebrate its 30th anniversary. It is therefore no wonder that a LEGO model for the car is a must. Lumik thought the same way and spent 15 months working on his Ideas model.

The Lancia Delta Rally Car consists of 2,584 parts and has a modular structure. The front, rear, side panels, roof, hood and chassis can be easily removed and reinstalled. The design of the Lancia Delta Rally is a classic show model with technical features. Lumik describes its design as a mix of LEGO Technic for the chassis and LEGO Creator for building the body.
All wheels are driven and mounted via a double wishbone suspension. The front wheel steering works according to the precise Ackermann geometry, the steering wheel turns with the wheels and is also height adjustable. The cockpit shifter controls the 4WD option with rear-wheel drive. The rally car is powered by a 3 PF Large engine, which can also be expanded to 2 or 3 PF XL engines. The front and rear lights are fully functional. There is also the option to install high beam headlights.
The model has many details of the original Lancia Delta Rally: the dirt-absorbing red valves, the instruments, pedals, mirrors, sun visors, air intakes and the many stickers that are characteristic of rally cars. The more the better!
