Roku City' screensaver from Roku TV now with LEGO

It's not often that a screensaver becomes so legendary, but that certainly happened with Roku TV's 'Roku City' screensaver. For those unaware of the appeal of Roku City, it is a purple blurred cityscape that is used as a screensaver on Roku TV devices. It started as a playful excursion through a city street full of vague movie references. In the years since it became a vehicle for advertising with brands like Paramount+ and Mcdonald's appearing in Roku City, the LEGO Group can now be added to this list. In a playful exchange between Roku and the LEGO Group on the shall-not-be-named social media platform, Roku City has been “rebuilt” with characters from the current “Play is your Superpower” ad campaign. They should be coming to Roku devices very soon, where I'm sure there will be even more LEGO-themed Easter eggs to discover.
