LEGO 70404 King's Castle

The set consists of one main model, that of a medieval castle. The castle has a predominantly grey-blue color scheme, in keeping with the colors of the Lion Knights from Castle (2013). The castle, like its many predecessors, is largely square in shape, with various towers and gates throughout. The castle is based on green plates, which creates the effect of a grassy area. On top of this, a belt of dark brown earth circles the wall, indicating a base of dirty stones. A continuous wall has been built on this, with a large number of arrow slits. Battlements are placed on the top.

Three towers were built at various places along the walls, not including the gatehouse. Two of these towers are almost identical and are placed on opposite corners of the castle. One of these contains a defensive catapult built on top of it. Another tower has been placed at the back of the castle. On the ground floor of the other is a dungeon with double doors and iron bars. At the bottom, at the foot of the tower, there is a small wooden door to the outside. One level up is a blue-and-gold throne in a small room with three walls. One level above is a treasury with wooden doors. Finally, on top of the tower is an octagonal battlement, providing a high vantage point for the castle's defenders.
