For starters, it's pronounced 'H-wire-ah', it's the successor to the all-powerful Pagani Zonda and named after a South American wind god named Huayra Tata. A mid-engine hypercar with a better power-to-weight ratio than a Bugatti Veyron SS, the Huayra uses a 6.0-liter AMG 60-degree V12 with twin turbos to produce 700 hp and 728 Nm of torque. Translation? From 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and 'more than' 370 km/h. There is a seven-speed sequential gearbox that drives only the rear wheels, and the box is interesting because it is not a dual clutch: Horacio Pagani believed that the weight increase (70 kg extra) over a normal sequential gearbox was not the kind of trade-off that he wanted to make.

This 1:8 scale model takes all the iconic design features of the real thing and translates them flawlessly into a model with more than 2,800 parts. The opening doors, unique rear view mirrors, rear lights and Pagani branded wheel locks ensure that no one will confuse this model with anything else.
