The different versions of the Funko Pop!

Maybe you've heard about "exclusives" here and there, or you see a Funko Pop for sale somewhere with a slightly higher price. Which versions are available? We are going to explain it in this blog!

1. Normal

First of all, you have the normal Funko Pop. A Funko Pop like many others. Recognizable by its large head with large black eyes and sometimes without a mouth.

2.Chase

A Chase looks slightly different than a normal Funko Pop. Chase pops often have a different color and you can recognize them by their unique chase sticker on the outside of the box. You have a 1 in 6 chance, or sometimes even a 1 in 72 chance, of getting a chase Funko Pop, because they are supplied by Funko to retailers among the normal Pop figures! Unfortunately, these are usually sold separately by retailers for a higher price.

3.Clear/Translucent

Available in far fewer numbers than the regular Funko Pop, but very collectible, are the clear and translucent Funko Pops! Clear Funko Pops are completely transparent and also available in combination with blood splashes or as a chase. The translucent Funko Pops are transparent, but often have a bluish glow. Sometimes only certain parts of the body are transparent.

4. Metallic

A Metallic Funko Pop is a normal Funko Pop, with the same colors and design, in a beautiful metallic paint finish! This makes the Metallic Funko Pops look robotic.

5. Chrome

Chrome Funko Pops are available in many different colors, including gold, silver, purple, green, etc. When the chrome Pops come on the market you can still buy them fairly easily, but after a while they become more difficult to obtain!

6. Bloody (Blood Splattered)

These Funko Pops usually have blood splattered all over their body, face and weapon. Usually seen with the horror Funko Pops!

7. Flocked

A "flocked" Funko Pop means it is covered in soft, fluffy fibers. The fibers are small and feel like velvet or felt. Many Funko pops have so-called "limited edition flocked chase" variants, where only the chase Funko Pop is flocked, but there are also standard, non-chase flocked Funko Pops.

8.Glow in the Dark

Glow in the Dark speaks for itself, these Funko Pops glow in the dark! While some Funko Pops are completely Glow in the Dark, there are also Funko Pops available where only a certain part lights up.

9.Vaulted

Some Funko Pops are vaulted. This means that Funko has stopped producing these Funko Pops. Sometimes, after a number of years, Funko releases a new version of the vaulted Funko Pop. This is often with a different color on the box.

10. Exclusive

Sometimes a retailer or a fair has an exclusive Funko Pop for sale. These can only be purchased at this retailer or fair. Often after a while, such as Comic Con, the fair Funko Pops are available in limited quantities at retailers. Exclusive Funko Pops are often more difficult to obtain and are worth a little more.

11. Sepia

Sepia Funko Pops have a reddish brown color. A sepia tone can best be compared to an old photo, the colors are not completely black and white but are very gray.

12. Scented

Ā

In recent years, some Funko Pops have been released with a unique scent, but few of them can be found now, but we are seeing more and more scented Funko Pops appearing! The scented Funko Pops have a sticker on the box stating that they are 'scented'.

13.Diamond

The Diamond Funko Pops are actually regular Funko Pops, but with glitter paint! They are very popular and you can recognize them by a diamond sticker on the box.

14. Black and White

As the name suggests, these are Funko Pops with a monochrome (Black and White) design.
